Acheron

This map is a self seeded pine forest on moderate steep foothills (100km).
Take SH73
to the West Coast. Signposted at the turnoff before Lake Lyndon.

Ahuriri

This map is a open port hills farm with scattered scrub (18 km).
Start is off the Akaroa Highway, on the left, 3km past Tai Tapu.

Akaroa

A street map around Akaroa.
Take SH75 to Akaroa.

Apollo Hill

This map is mainly open farm with some matagouri and abit of native bush in the foot hills (80km).
Signposted past Springfield on SH73.

Ashburton Domain A park map of the Ashburton Domain.
Bottle Lake

This map consists of sand dunes in a pine forest (8km).

Butlers Bush

This map is mainly open farm with some matagouri and abit of native bush in the foot hills (80km).
Signposted about 7.5km past Springfield on SH73, cross the Kowai No.1 bridge, pass the lime works on your right, and the orienteering sign will be visible at the far end of the long straight road.

Castle Hill

A steepish farm map consisting of very intricate rock detail near Cave Stream (120km).

Chaneys

This map is a flat but tricky pine forest (11km).
Signposted from Marshland Rd at turnoff into Spencerville Rd.

Clevelands  
Craigmore

This map consists of a huge area of intricate sinkholes (dolines) and some scrubby faces on a farm inland from Timaru (180km).
Take SH1 south to Timaru. At the south end of Timaru head west on Beaconsfield Rd and follow
AA signs to Holme Station Corner where it will signposted to the start.

Cuthberts Green

A park/street map encompassing Cuthberts Green Park, the streets to the south and a small area of farmland.

Dalethorpe

This map is a young pine forest on moderate steep foothills (60km).
Take SH73 to the West Coast. Turn left into Dalethorpe Rd just after the sign for Annat.

Eskvale A farm map containing some pine plantations.  Turn off at Amberley towards the hills.  About 45 mins from Christchurch.
Flock Hill

A steepish farm map consisting of very intricate rock detail near Cave Stream (120km).

Godley Head

A steep map with lots of rock detail and gun emplacement tunnels (13km).
From Sumner take the Evans Pass Rd to the intersection with Summit Rd then turn left onto Godley Head Rd.

The Groynes

A simple map consisting of ponds and streams in a picnic ground (9km).
Signposted from Johns Rd.

Hagley Park A park map in the heart of Christchurch.
Halswell Quarry

This is a farm map which includes the Quarry.
Signposted off Kennedys Bush Rd (corner of Halswell Rd and Sparks Rd).

Hanmer

A forest area around the township consisting of lots of tracks and roads.
Start will be in or close by the Forest Trust Camp on Jollies Pass Rd.

Kaiapoi

A street map of Kaiapoi.

Leithfield

A map consisting of farm land, pine forest and sand dunes (40km).
This map is about 40 minutes drive north of Christchurch on SH1. It will be signposted from SH1.

Living Springs

A farm map with scattered native bush (12km).
Take Dyers Pass Rd over to Governors Bay. Signposted from Allandale just past Governors Bay.

Lyttelton

A street map of Lyttelton.

McLean's Island 

New map consisting of stoney ground, gorse and forest.
The entrance to the event will be sign posted from Chattertons Road, 3 km north from the Old West Coast Rd.

Mt Pleasant

A street map around Mt Pleasant area.
Starts at Mt Pleasant Community Centre, McCormacks Bay Road.

Mt Vernon

This map is situated on the port hills to the north east of Takahe (8km).
Drive eastward along the Summit Rd from the Sign of the Kiwi at the top of Dyers Pass Rd.

Orton Bradley

A farm park on the other side of Lyttelton harbour consisting of lots of forest patches and some native bush (15km).
Take Dyers Pass Road over to Governors Bay
then continue around to Charteris Bay.

Pegasus

(Bottle Lake)

This map is the southern end of Bottle Lake consisting of open forest, sand dunes, regrowth, low visibility, clear sand and everything in between.
Start is northern end of Bower Ave at Broadhaven Park.

Pukaki

This map is glaciated lake edge and farmland, medium to low steepness. The elevation ranges from lake level (525 m asl.) up to 615m.asl. 80% of the map is rough under foot, open farmland with considerable areas of Matagouri and Rose Hip bushes. It is rocky in areas. Pasture length varies considerably. 20% is lake edge, which is wooded with a variety of introduced tree species.
Signposted from SH8 where the highway from Tekapo meets Lake Pukaki. (35km from Tekapo or 23 km from the Tekapo Military Camp).

Quail Island 

A delightful little map in the middle of Lyttelton Harbour (10km).

South Brighton A street/park map containing some pine forest ( km).
Spencerville

This map consists of sand dunes in a pine forest (11km).
Signposted from Marshland Rd at turnoff into Lower Styx Rd.

St Martins

A street/park map in St Martins (4km).

Takahe

A steep map with trees and rocks (6km).
Signposted from Sign of the Takahe
on Dyers Pass Rd.

Tekapo

A small map of glacial moraine pine forest on the side of Lake Tekapo.
Signposted from SH8 at the northern entrance to Tekapo Village on Lilybank Rd, which is the access road to Roundhill Ski Area.

A map of the University of Canterbury including the buildings, sports grounds and adjacent streets.

This map is rolling farmland with small areas of forest and limestone outcrops (80km).
Signposted off SH7, north of Christchurch.
